The DreamDog Foundation
is the philanthropic partner of
DreamDog Press and DreamDog Media,
founded by Rainey. The DreamDog
Foundation works on issues such
as children’s homelessness,
mentoring, volunteerism, and cultural
awareness and targets an evolving
mosaic of personal children’s
issues such as: literacy, self-esteem
building, fears, cultural adaptation,
chronic medical conditions, positive
relationships with family and friends,
relationships, disabilities and
other issues. Programs include the
‘Books for Backpacks program
which distributed over 15,000 free
books and music CD to homeless children
last year. The DreamDog Foundation
also distributes print Braille versions
of Jazz the DreamDog books and music.
